Welcome to my new website everyone.  I’ll be sharing blogs here from time to time, so make sure you check back every now and then to see what’s new with me and the CRC Foundation.

It’s been a busy off-season for me. In April, I joined 19 other NFLers at Universal Studios Hollywood for the first ever NFL Hollywood Boot Camp program. We learned how to operate cameras, write scripts and even met the cast of “Desperate Housewives” on Wisteria Lane. One of the highlights was the recreation of Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance.  I think I did a pretty good job mastering the zombie dance moves.

I’ve also been traveling to support other NFL players’ charities. Just this past week, I was in West Palm Beach, FL to support Anquan Boldin’s Q81 Foundation. It’s always good to get back to South Florida where I still have a lot of friends and lots of good memories from my time at “The U.”

As summer approaches, I want to encourage all of you to join me in spending time mentoring, tutoring and reading to young people. Please join my NFL Scout Team with United Way by becoming one of the 1,000 new volunteers I’m recruiting this year.  I need the help of my fellow Bird Gang members to help me make a difference in our communities. I’m looking forward to having a monster 2012 season and can’t wait to get back on the field.
